When a broken flower pot becomes part of a garden design.

There are many fun ideas for transforming the use of your broken flower pot.

1. The bottom broken out.

By placing it around a plant, you can highlight a favorite flower and add color to your flower bed.

With a bonus attribute, of protecting it from digging dogs.

The picture above is a calla lily.  Next year I will remember where the bulb will re-sprout and not try to plant something else there.

2. Broken off side.

Simply place them at random in your garden.

A bonus of helping with soil moisture retention.

3. Chip out of a flower pot.

Makes a welcome toad house.

Attracting toads to live in your garden, reduces the need for pesticides,

because the toad will eat your pesky bugs.

4. Broken to pieces flower pot.

Use in the bottom of pot, before adding dirt. This will help with water drainage and preventing root rot.
